It looks like Chris Sale will be in Minnesota after-all. The Chicago White Sox pitcher was snubbed during the initial roster but has won the “Final Vote” contest and will be on the American League roster.
Sale won the All-Star MVP during last years game at Citi Field in New York. He will join teammates Jose Abreu and Alexei Ramirez who are making their first trips to the game.
White Sox fans showed their support for Sale by tweeting “#TargetSale” for the majority of the week. The tweets only counted for a certain time slot on Thursday.
