Last week was rough except for my Lock of the Week. I had no doubt in my mind that BC would cover against Miami, no doubt.
Temple vs. UCF
Best Bet: UCF (-10.5)
UCF is one out of the four remaining unbeaten teams in the top 25 and I think they have the best chance at remaining undefeated.
Syracuse vs. Wake Forest
Best Bet: Syracuse (-6)
I don’t think I’ve been alive the last time Syracuse was a ranked college football team. But, they certainly have proved that they can play and Wake hasn’t. I mean, Wake’s special teams doesn’t even know when to come on the field (if you know, you know).
West Virginia vs. Texas
Best Bet: Over 58
These two teams have very high-powered offenses with average defenses. I expect this to be a high scoring game. Close to 70 combined points.
Penn State vs. Michigan
Best Bet: Under 53.5
Usually, big Big Ten matchups are somewhat low-scoring, but there’s an exception to every rule. This time, it will be one of those dogfights to determine the winner. In my opinion, the Wolverines will come out on top but not by much.
Lock of the Week
Michigan State vs. Maryland
Best Bet: Michigan State (-2.5)
There is a bit of tension on Maryland’s end after firing their coach so I predict that the Terps won’t be at their finest Saturday afternoon. Who knows what it’s gonna be like in Maryland but I can tell you that the Spartans definitely have the edge in this one.
