Goalie Corey Crawford is ready to return sooner than later for the Chicago Blackhawks.
Crawford will make his return to the team on Friday night, just a week after he was placed on IR with an injury. It appeared as if Crawford would return Sunday at the earliest but with the Blackhawks reeling his return could be a big boost for the team.

The Blackhawks have lost 5-straight games after a 6-2 thrashing by the Washington Capitals on Wednesday. They will host the Buffalo Sabres on Friday night at the UC with a chance to right the ship.
In addition to Crawford returning, the Blackhawks have called up forward Vinnie Hinostroza from Rockford. Hopefully Hinostroza can have some sort of impact right away.
