The NBA is still in a lockout, and despite talks picking up, it doesn’t look good for an NBA season. Comcast Sports Net Chicago however is trying to help you get your basketball fix during this lockout by airing 15 of the the greatest Chicago Bulls games in history.
Starting Wednesday November 2nd at 7:30 p.m CST, Comcast will show the games with their original broadcast. It will be hosted in-studio by Stacy King and Neil Funk. Game one of the 15 week telecast will feature the Febuary 26th, 1987 game between the New Jersey Nets and Chicago Bulls where Michael Jordan sets an all-time Bulls scoring record with 58 points.
Fans will be able to relive moments like Jordan’s “Final Shot”, Jordan’s “The Shot” over Craig Ehlo, “The Shrug” game against the Trailblazers in the ’92 NBA Finals, his double nickel game in Madison Square Garden, plus many more.

February 26, 1987:
New Jersey Nets at Chicago Bulls (Bulls win 128-113)Jordan sets a new all-time Bulls scoring record with 58 points; also sets new Bulls record of 26/27 from the free throw line, including 19 straight; terrific post-game interview with the late Johnny “Red” Kerr asking MJ “What’s next?”…the youthful Jordan’s response: “an NBA Championship.”

Coverage includes post-game locker room coverage of Jordan clutching the Larry O’Brien NBA Championship Trophy with his father James Jordan at his side.
