The first two games of the 2017 NLCS haven’t gone the way the Chicago Cubs hoped they would.
Chicago jumped out to leads in both games in Los Angeles, but watched the Dodgers rally to grab a 2-0 series lead. With the series shifting to Chicago for three games, the Cubs have to find their offense and they have to find it quickly.
Following the Game 2 loss, Cubs reliever Carl Edwards Jr. made a bold prediction for the series. He told reporters that the Cubs will tie this thing up before we know it.
In @Cubs clubhouse, reliever Carl Edwards Jr. stood before cameras and said, “Before you know it, this series is going to be tied.” @MLB

Edwards Jr. made a similiar prediction in the Cubs NLDS series against the Washington Nationals. Following a Game 4 loss at Wrigley Field, Edwards Jr. predicted the Cubs would win the deciding Game 5 as he told reporters he will see them in Los Angeles.
The Cubs won Game 5 but now have to dig themselves out of an 0-2 hole.
