Sunday afternoon and the BMO Harris Bank Center in Rockford was jam packed with activities. First the Chicago Cubs’ World Series Trophy was on display; the IceHogs were hosting the Chicago Wolves; there was a Player Cards give-a-way; and an after game skate with the team.
The IceHogs returned home after four losses on the road and they were looking for a much needed win. They delivered fans a big 6-3 Win against the Wolves. Brandon Mashinter returned to the lineup after a injury and proved he was game ready by scoring twice. Also fresh to the roster was Tyler Motte, who had just been assigned to the IceHogs from the Chicago Blackhawks. He too scored two goals. The remaining goals for the IceHogs were by Mark McNeill and Tyler Barnes.
The IceHogs play the next three games at home on January 13, 14 & 16th
