Yet another veteran player is being told that he will not be returning to the Chicago Bears next season. After two years with the Bears, linebacker D.J. Williams will not return in 2015.
#Bears informed veteran MLB DJ Williams the team is going in a different direction & he will not return to Chicago, per a source.

While Williams has experience with John Fox from their time together in Denver, age and injury history were most likely a factor. Rumors are starting to come out regarding the Bears interest in various linebackers in free agency, and more news will come out when the period opens today at 3pm CST.
Williams has had an extremely solid career when healthy, and has experience in both a 4-3 and 3-4. He will have interest from several teams once free agency opens.
