Dalen Terry Highlights
12/7/2020 – vs. Northern Arizona: 26 minutes, 5 points (2/5 FG), 6 assists, 3 rebounds, 3 blocks, 1 steal
In just the third game of his college career, Terry displayed his ability to color up the stat sheet by doing a little bit of everything. While he only scored a low 5 points, it was his teammate, Jemarl Baker, who was sizzling hot that night, going 7-for-9 from the three and scoring 33 points.
Terry feasted on his teammates’ hot hand, dishing out six dimes, while also working in the paint to nab 3 blocks along the way. One dark spot on Terry’s performance in this game was his free throw shooting, where he finished 1-for-6 from the charity strike.

Just two days later, Terry notches his first double-digit scoring night as a freshman. In this game, Terry began testing his range, hitting 2-of-3 from beyond the arc. His presence was all over the floor defensively, while he had no blocks in his showing, he finished with two steals and some trademark flashy passes to hit his open teammates for threes.
Taking a look at his passes, Chicago fans will be in for an entertaining season once Terry figures out the tenacious pace of the NBA. While just 18 years old at this time, his instinct to zip out a flashy pass to the open man is an undeniable part of his game that will continue to develop.
1/21/2021 – vs. Arizona State: 22 minutes, 13 points (4/7 FG), 1 assist, 4 rebounds, 1 block
After falling out of the starting lineup, Terry came off the bench in this rivalry matchup against ASU and put together a solid performance. He drilled all three of his three-point shots taken and aided the Wildcats with his 13 points as they barely beat ASU 84-82 via a buzzer-beating tip-in by his teammate, Azoulas Tubelis.
After his productive outing off the bench, it appears Terry found a groove to help him get back into the starting line-up the following week.

Back in the starting lineup, Terry continued to shoot from distance (this time going 2-for-3 from three) while also grabbing three boards. His performance in this one wasn’t anything spectacular, as the Wildcats had a tough night, allowing 18 turnovers in this 73-64 loss to Stanford. Terry answered questions for the media regarding stepping in for his injured teammate, Ben Mathurin, and took responsibility for the disappointing loss.
