Arizona worked their way to the Championship game for the Roman Main Event tournament facing off against #4 Michigan. Analysts were claiming the Wildcats (4-0) were the best unranked team in the country heading into this matchup.
Terry appeared more comfortable throughout this game, helping ignite the offense through his passing and timely shooting. He also threw down a showtime dunk to get the crowd roaring as the Wildcats dominated Michigan 80-62.
1/3/2022 – vs. Washington: 28 minutes, 13 points (5/9 FG), 8 assists, 11 rebounds, 1 steal
Terry’s 7-foot-wingspan was in full display in this contest, as he grabbed 11 rebounds and added some more highlight plays to his college reel. He was able to navigate through Washington’s zone defense, dishing 8 dimes, including a generously slick pass to Ben Mathurin for a windmill flush.
He gave Washington trouble the entire game around the glass and continued to be a menace on the fastbreak, throwing lobs for huge dunks when the game was beginning to get close. This performance certainly had to of raised some eyebrows for NBA scouts.
