Dalen Terry vs. the Pac-12
2/3/2022 – vs. UCLA: 35 minutes, 10 points (4/6 FG), 7 assists, 9 rebounds
With the team riding a 17-2 record, Arizona was now ranked #7 heading into this contest against #3 UCLA. Terry continued his playmaking/rebounding streak by coming real close to a triple-double. He was also able to hit two threes and find his open teammates to keep UCLA from coming back. Terry played the most amount of minutes in his college career in this game as the Wildcats were able to earn their biggest win of the season.
2/12/2022 – vs. Washington: 27 minutes, 12 points (5/5 FG), 7 assists, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block
In this game, Dalen had one of his better shooting games going 5-for-5 from the field while also sprinkling some rebounds and steals along the way. The Wildcats were on fire at this point of the season, carrying the #4 rank nationwide. Terry solidified his identity on this team as an all-around playmaker that could also be a menace at times on defense.
3/12/2022 – vs. UCLA: 36 minutes, 15 points (5/9 FG), 7 assists, 7 rebounds
The Wildcats entered the Pac-12 Tournament Final game against ULCA without their point guard Kerr Kriisa. After a real sluggish start, Arizona was down double-digits early. The absence of Kriisa, allowed Dalen to feast as the team’s primary ballhandler for most of the game. The Wildcats ended up going on a tremendous scoring run in the second half, while Terry was able to throw down an explosive fastbreak dunk worth seeing.
