Dalen Terry in the NCAA Tournament
3/18/2022 – vs. Wright State: 36 minutes, 16 points (6/8), 4 assists, 6 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block
Arizona entered the NCAA Tournament as the #1 seed going up against Wright State in the first round. Once again, Terry hit the floor running with some strong defense in the first half that also created scoring opportunities for himself.
At this point late in the season, all of the players on the team understood their roles and how to make an impact. The Wildcats were able to steamroll to the second round, winning 87-70, with Terry notching 16 points.
3/24/2022 – vs. Houston: 38 minutes, 17 points (6/9 FG), 3 assists, 6 rebounds, 1 block
In the final college game of his career, Terry scored a career-high 17 points during the tough loss, going 2-for-3 from beyond the arc. Despite this being the final game in a Wildcats uniform, Terry continued to dish out the fancy no-look passes while also getting inside to convert the tough buckets.
