Derrick Rose is set to return to the Chicago Bulls after suffering another season-ending injury last year. When Rose does return he will be sporting the adidas D Rose 5 Boost, the latest shoe in his signature line.
Rose was on hand at Foot Locker on State Street Saturday to official unveil the shoe to the public and sign autographs. The first 50 people who purchased the shoe, which released October 23rd, met Rose and got his autograph.
The former MVP talked about the shoe to the media and how much it means to him to have people lineup just to get a glimpse of the point guard. Rose also talked about his input into the shoe as it features dedications to Chicago, his mother and son. Before the event at Foot Locker, Rose spent time with kids from the After School Matters program at the adidas store. Rose answered questions and chatted with fans about the new model.
The adidas D Rose 5 model is the most technically advanced in the Rose signature line featuring premium Boost technology to provide support and comfort on and off the court. You can pickup the shoe at adidas and Foot Locker for a price tag of $140. Use #DRose5 and visit adidas Basketball’s Facebook & Twitter for more!
