The Chicago Bulls received some good news on Friday morning.
Bulls executive Gar Forman confirmed that Derrick Rose’s surgery on a torn meniscus was successful on Friday and the point guard will only miss 4-6 weeks. Forman went on to say that Rose is on-board with the process and everything will depend on his rehab process. Rose was able to walk out of the building after having the surgery.

Forman also stated that he expects Rose to being rehab immediately. If Rose does miss the full six weeks, there will be three regular season games remaining before the NBA playoffs. Rose was averaging 18.4 points and 5.0 assists per game.
