The Sox did manage to pick up the 4-1 win tonight but there might eb a bigger concern. Jake Peavy left the game in the 2nd inning with a Strained back muscle. It is unclear how long Peavy may be out for.
After the 1 hour 40 minute rain delay teh Sox wasted no time scoring runs. Juan Pierre reached with a double, Alexei ramirez struck out, but Juan managed to move over to 3rd with his 27th stolen base on the season. It was then Alex Rios who knocked him in with the sac fly. The Halos did get one back in the 4th with the Mike Napoli single but it was all White Sox after that. Alex Rios hita towering home run in the 6th and Andruw Jones did just the same in the 7th. Juan Pierre made it a 4-1 game on the infield single. This is how the game would end.
The story of the game was not the home runs though, it was the relief apperance by the Sox bullpen. After Peavy left, Tony Pena went 4.1 innings allowing 5 hits and 1 run. Putz, Thornton and Jenks combined for 3 innings allowing 0 runs.
The Sox will look to take there 4th straight tomorrow night at US Cellular Field.

for the love of god, clean up your grammar. “eb” is not “be”, strained should not be capitalized, and “teh” is not “the”. i counted five or six elementary errors, easily. as a side note, it is lazy to write “2nd inning” instead of “second inning” – just some advice. overall, edit before you submit.
