Chicago Blackhawk fans can take a sigh of relief if a forward happens to go down this year. With mostly defenders on the roster, an injury to a forward would have the Blackhawks looking to Rockford for a replacement. Who better to bring up than Rob Klinkhammer. Klinkhammer has been in the system for the past three years, with this upcoming season becoming his fourth. Klinkhammer has shown that he can be a valuable asset to the team by of his stlye of play. The 6’3 forward is not afraid to bring the physical play, along with some potential offense. The thing that really sticks out for Klinkhammer’s game is his versatility, being able to play on any of the four lines, and his defensive capabilities. After having a career year last year with 46 points, expect Klinkhammer to be a leader for the young Blackhawks in the system, and expect him to possibly be a Blackhawk in the near future.

Klinkhammer? Sounds like a made-up name, like for a nasty college professor or Army colonel.
That was very funny Mike, my buddy’s always thought the same exact thing. It would be a name Zach Morris would use in a plan.
