EA Sports announced today that Chicago Blackhawks star Patrick Kane would no longer appear on the cover of NHL 16 with ongoing investigations involving Kane.
EA Sports revealed earlier this summer that both Jonathan Toews and Kane would appear together hoisting the Stanley Cup on the cover of the hockey video game NHL 16. While Kane has been removed from the cover, Toews will remain as the lone Blackhawk holding the Stanley Cup. The video game has not been delayed due to the cover change and will be released on September 15.
