Role Players
Coby White
White has had flashes of better shot selection and streaky perimeter shooting but he is currently averaging career-lows early this season in minutes played, points (only 8 ppg.), assists, rebounds, and field goal percentage.
Grade: C-
Goran Dragic
One of the few bright spots of the Chicago Bulls’ season so far. Dragic is fueling the bench behind his scoring (45% from 3PT) and playmaking (3.8 apg.). It is a shame to see the Bulls rely so heavily on the 36-year-old veteran to keep their offense engaged at times this season. We can expect his savvy productive play to continue while coming off the bench for Chicago.
Grade: A-
Andre Drummond
Another solid pick-up during the offseason for the Bulls seems to be paying off. Drummond is nearly averaging a double-double (8.6 points, 9 rebounds) in just 16 minutes of average playing time. Drummond has played well within his role for the Chicago Bulls. He’s not forcing shots on offense and is scoring on all of his limited opportunities. His defense is still a presence and he has been able to give some physicality to Chicago’s frontcourt.
Grade: B+
Javonte Green
Green has been a wildcard to start off the 2022-23 season for the Chicago Bulls. There are games when his presence is felt on both offense and defense. Then there are games where he is a non-factor. His scoring has been below average and he just has not done enough yet to make a lasting impact off the bench for the team.
Grade C+
