Chicago Sky star Elena Delle Donne has put together a nice career in the Windy City so far.
She’s fresh off of a 2015 WNBA MVP award, won Gold at the 2016 Olympics in Rio and is hoping to return in time from injury to help the Sky make a playoff run. On Friday, her newest commercial was released with Gatorade and it’s a special one.
Delle Donne is being featured in Gatorade’s newest commercial “For the Wind”, which tells about her time in Chicago as a player. It also has a very powerful message about Elena’s relationship with her sister Lizzie, who is severely disabled.
The commercial also shows how the city has taught her to interact with other people. You can view the commercial below:

In addition to the new commercial, artist Michael Murphy has constructed a new “For the Wind” sculpture outside of the Sky’s home at Allstate Arena.
Check out how it was built below:

Make sure you get out to the Allstate Arena and support the Sky with just a few games left in the regular season.
Also, make sure to share your photos of the Delle Donne sculpture!
