Similar to their NFL power rankings, ESPN is releasing their annual NBA player rankings ahead of the upcoming 2014-2015 NBA season.
Each day the outlet will release 20 players in order of how they are ranked starting with number 500. The series will conclude October 28th when the NBA season kicks-off.
Today the rankings featured Bulls rookie Doug McDermott.

The rookie comes in at number 192 on the list, as the Bulls made a draft day trade to acquire the former Creighton star. The Bulls desperately needed help on the offensive end, so McDermott makes sense. It will be interesting to see how much McDermott plays early on and if his role increases as the season goes on.
