The next step in Loyola-Chicago’s Cinderella story is a date with the Michigan Wolverines in the Final Four this weekend in San Antonio.
The eleventh-seeded Ramblers came out of the tough South Region that featured Virginia, Arizona, Kentucky and Cincinnati as the top four seeds. Loyola defeated Miami in the first round, Tennessee in the second round, Nevada in Sweet 16 and then Kansas Sate in the Elite 8.
With just two games left, the Ramblers have a shot at winning their first National Championship since 1963. But it won’t be easy as they have to go through No. 3 Michigan and then if they win, either No. 1 Kansas or No. 1 Villanova.
First things first though is the matchup with the Wolverines on Saturday night. Loyola will enter the game as underdogs for the fifth-straight time as Vegas has set the line to Michigan +5 and the over/under at 129. The money line on Loyola at +190.
Here’s the full odds for the teams to win it all:
Odds to Win National Title:
7/5: Villanova
2/1: Michigan
11/4: Kansas
8/1: Loyola-Chicago(via Sportsbook)

The Ramblers are 8-0 in their last 8 games as underdogs and 25-10 against the spread this year. A bet on Loyola isn’t a terrible idea here as the Ramblers are on the verge of history and have proven they can play with good teams in the NCAA Tournament.
Tipoff is set for 5:09 p.m. CST on Saturday night.
