The Fire have had a rough time in 2014, recently being eliminated from playoff contention and falling further away from a playoff position. Facing FC Dallas, placed third in the Western Conference, in the annual Brimstone Cup, newcomer Robert Earnshaw provided the late game heroics in a 1-0 win.
Earnshaw’s 83rd minute game winner was his second goal in as many games to begin his Fire career.
