The Chicago Fire Soccer Club has re-signed midfielder and team captain Logan Pause through the 2013 season. Pause was named captain, replacing CJ Brown, last off-season and played 29 games for the Fire in 2011. Pause has scored 2 goals and has made 11 assists during his Fire career. Pause has also spent time with the U.S. National Team, earning six caps and competing in the Gold Cup in 2009 that was ultimately lost to hands of Mexico. Klopas reportedly hasn’t guaranteed that Pause will keep his role as captain in the future.
