There is no doubt that Summer in Chicago is the best time of the year and makes the city that much more enjoyable. With baseball season hitting the dog days and training camp starting back up for the Chicago Bears, there will be plenty to do sports-wise and non-sports wise around the city.
With the official start to Summer just a few days ago, that means that Fourth of July is right around the corner. But this year, it won’t just be about the outdoor parties, the barbecue, watermelon, great weather and all the fun stuff that comes along with the Holiday.
Nope, it also comes with Season 3 of Netflix’s hit show ‘Stranger Things’ which will be released on the streaming service July 4th. After a successful first two seasons, the show returns for the first time in over a year and a half. With that, our friends over at Forever Collectibles are releasing a special Stranger Things x MLB mashup with new bobbleheads!
Here is a statement from FOCO licensing manager Matthew Katz on the new partnership:
“We at FOCO are thrilled to team with Netflix to launch these unique MLB Stranger Things bobbleheads,” said Matthew Katz, Senior Licensing Manager at FOCO. “We’re excited to give fans new ways to express their team spirit straight from Hawkins, Indiana and the Upside Down, and we are sure fans everywhere will be excited to collect these one-of-a-kind bobbleheads,” Katz continued.
The new bobblehead series will feature three unique designs including the Demogorgan, a team mascot and a star player from each team that has the ‘Stranger Things’ theme to it.
