We’ve been waiting for this day to come ever since that gloomy January 23rd day. Chicago Bears football is officially back…well…in about 5 hours that is. The Bears open up the 2011 regular season at home against the Atlanta Falcons.
Julius Peppers and crew will be looking to bounce Matt Ryan’s face off the turf all game long. This isn’t an analysis, or a preview, just a football fan conveying how exciting they are about football being back. The 2011 season truly gets under way on the 10th anniversary of the September 11th attacks.
On a day where everybody will be paying homage to those who lost their lives and showing their patriotism, fans are in for a treat. Jim Cornelison will be singing the national anthem. It isn’t often you can get excited about the national anthem but, watch the following video and tell me if this doesn’t pump you up.
What are your plans for the game? Let us know where you’re watching the game in the comments! Personally, I will be watching at Buffalo Wild Wings with a plate of Asian Zing wings. Does it get any better than that?
