7th Round, 218 overall (from Carolina via Miami) DL Travis Bell, Kennesaw State
The ever so valuable seventh round. These guys will be fighting to make the roster. Travis Bell is another smaller, quick defensive tackle who specializes in stopping the run.
He’s the first player from Kennesaw State to ever be drafted in the NFL, which is a very cool feat. I don’t mind this selection at all as this defensive front can use all the help it needs to finally stop the run. Although my heart would’ve loved tight end Zack Kuntz here, who was later drafted by the New York Jets.
