5th Round, 165 overall (from Philadelphia via New Orleans) DB Terell Smith, Minnesota
Terell Smith is a good press-man corner with ability to move all over the field. In college, he played in the slot sometimes and even played some safety. He has the potential to be a nice depth piece or a good special teams addition for the Chicago Bears.
Not a huge fan here, either. I would’ve liked to see them go after Payne Durham the tight end out of Purdue, or BJ Thompson who went a pick later, the edge rusher. I know it’s the fifth, but championships are won in these later rounds.
