The Homer will go to the grave defending his team using illogical defense tactics that leaves other fans scratching their heads. From injuries, to the weather, to what-if scenarios, they come well equipped and ready for a philosophical debate defending their team. One would think The Homer is a publicist the way he spins the negative news about his team into an awe-inspired narrative.
