Things have been oddly silent at Halas Hall in Lake Forest since Sunday’s Chicago Bears’ playoff loss in New Orleans to the Saints in the NFC Wild Card. Monday has come and gone, Tuesday is coming and going and still nothing from Bears brass. Odd.
So what the heck is going with a franchise that has a lot of question marks going into this offseason?
With the season over and another disappointing ending for the Bears, many have expected some changes at Halas Hall. But so far, nothing has happened. So what the heck is going on?
NFL reporter Mike Garafolo offered his insight as to what potentially could be happening inside the walls at Halas Hall, no one feels safe and everyone is “on edge” as Bears brass continues to mull over the options.
Here is what Garafolo said:

This makes sense as the McCaskey family has to evaluate all options. But this is taking an unusual amount of time leading us to believe they really have no idea what’s going on. And that might be bad news for those hoping for a complete overhaul.
For a storied franchise that is already behind in line in terms of making changes as other teams are interviewing, this is getting a little embarrassing. And it’s coming off a season that was embarrassing in a number of ways.
I think it’s safe to say that Bears fans want this figured out and figured out now.
