After the Niemi no-no on Sunday night the Hawks travel to Nashville, Tennessee trying to take a 2-1 series lead in the 1st rd of the Western Conference Playoffs. Last night Dave Bolland scored which ended up being the game winning goal in the 2nd period on a back hand goal assisted by Toews and Kane. Patrick Kane continued with his scoring streak on a one timer. I would hope that big motivation coming into the game would be the fact that the Colorado Av’s (8 seed) have a 2-1 series lead on the San Jose Sharks (1 seed) with still game 4 to be played in Colorado. “Pretty amazing stat with all eight series going split,” Hawks coach Joel Quenneville said. “Going forward we have to play that way from start to finish. We got to be patient. You got to play with energy and you got play with a purpose.” You would have to imagine with all the talent that the Hawks have and if they could this that they should come out strong on Tuesday and take down there division rivals. The Hawks take on the Preds at 8pm CT on Versus and CSN.
