As that old saying goes…”It ain’t over ’til the Fat Lady Sings”. The IceHogs apparently aren’t done with the Post Season yet. Entering game 4 we saw then pull off an OT win 3-2. Game 5 was played last night in Rockford and once again the IceHogs made a statement, soundly beating the Stars 3-1.
Both teams will return to Texas to play games 6 & 7, with the Series at 3-2 in favor of the Stars. The IceHogs need to take both of those games in order to take the Western Conference title and move on to the Calder Cup Finals. Toronto swept the Eastern Conference finals last night and they are all set to go against who ever takes this closely matched Western division.
