The Rockford IceHogs began a 3 Game home stand last night, hosting the San Antonio Rampage. Games 2 & 3 are scheduled for this weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
Last night’s game began slowly, with a scoreless first period. However that soon changed in the 2nd Period when the IceHogs scored 2 easy soft goals in less than a minute. By the 4:11 mark, the IceHogs had scored 2 more times, making the score 4-0. In the 3rd frame, the Rampage was able to get past netminder, Collin Delia twice, making the score 4-2. Add a empty netter towards the end of the period by Rockford’s Matthew Highmore, making the final score 5-2.
