Saturday Night Fights was more apt a name for last night’s game. Hard hitting checks into the boards and a total of 3 fights were scattered throughout the game. Unfortunately, the game did not go the IceHogs way, losing in OT 3-4.
Fight cards were validated for Mike Liambas(RKF) vs Kurtis Gabriel(IA), Jake Dowell(RKF) vs Scott Sabourin(IA), and Chris DeSouza(RKF) vs Zac Dalpe(IA). Both Dowell & DeSouza came out on top for their bouts and the IceHogs’ enforcer, Liambas, on the bottom for his dance.
Points needed for a playoff berth for the IceHogs sit at 3 at this moment in time. Last 2 regular season home games for the IceHogs are on April 15th & 16th.
