The IceHogs lost in OT last night in Rockford to the San Diego Gulls 3-2. This was the first ever match up between the teams. It was a very fast paced, back & forth great game overall.
It appears that netminder, Mac Carruth is finally finding his groove again. He has appeared to struggle with inconsistency so far this season and it’s good to see him step up his game.
It was announced earlier this week that the IceHogs signed veteran goalie, Jeff Glass, to a AHL contract. Was this signing done in anticipation to the rumor that the Blackhawks could possibly lose Scott Darling to the expansion draft soon?
The IceHogs are at home tonight & Monday afternoon, playing the Grand Rapids Griffins both games.
