The Rockford IceHogs lost in OT last night to the Chicago Wolves, 2-1. This makes a total of 8 games the Hogs have lost in overtime this season. With that win, the Wolves also secured possession of the 2016-17 Illinois Lottery Cup.
The IceHogs’ Sam Carrick tied the game up 1-1 with 1:06 left on the clock in the 3rd period. Petteri Lindbohm scored the game winner for Chicago at 1:19 into the OT period.
The IceHogs continue to be in last place in the Central Division of the AHL.
Next home games are this coming weekend February 11 & 12th.
