It was becoming the battle of the goalies last night in Rockford, between the IceHogs’ Michael Leighton and the Wild’s Jeremy Smith. Neither netminder was letting anything get through them. It wasn’t until 15:02 in the 3rd period before Rockford’s Mark McNeill was able to fire one past Smith. The game itself was filled with flaring tempers, resulting in numerous scrums and a total of 3 fights.
Next home game is this coming Wednesday night in Rockford, puck drops at 7pm.
