It’s Play Off Hockey in Rockford and the fans turned out, last night, to see their hometown boys sweep the Texas Stars. Games 1 & 2 were played over the past weekend, with the IceHogs prevailing in both games. Stephan Johns scored the OT game winner for Rockford a mere 23 seconds into the OT period.
The IceHogs will now advance to Round 2. Game dates and opponent TBA.
