While traveling, I had the opportunity to cover a game by the Chicago Blackhawks’ ECHL affiliate, the Indy Fuel, on October 22, 2016. Unfortunately, the Fuel lost to the Missouri Mavericks, 2-1.
The Chicago Blackhawks currently have just one Prospect assigned to the Indy Fuel – Dillon Fouriner(D). The Rockford IceHogs also have several players assigned/loaned to the Indy Fuel – Nick Matteson(D), Jonathan Carlsson(D), Eric Levine(G) and Jake Hildebrand(G).
Jonathan Carlsson was credited with an assist on the Fuel’s only goal, made by teammate Matt Stanisz(D).
