Today joining me is The 18th overall pick by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Kaleb Cowart.
BP: What are just you overall thoughts of being drafted?
KC: I was honored to be picked by the angels they have a first class organization. I’ve worked my entire life for this moment and it is honestly surreal to be in this position I definitely wouldnt be here it wasnt for God. I give him all the glory in my life.
BP: You were selected 18th by the Angels, is that about where you expected to be or were you thinking earlier, later?
KC: I wasnt completely sure where i was going to go. But i had a good idea at 18.
BP: Do you feel any pressure within your family and friends?
KC: Not really. My family and friends are very supportive and they all understand it is ultimately my decison. My parents have been with me playing baseball forever. They are also a big help in making my decision.
BP: What are would you say your best pitch is?
KC: My best pitch is my fastball. I throw a two seamer that has a lot of late movement and sink to it. But the angels drafted me as a position player not a pitcher.

KC: My greatest strength is defintely my arm.
