Social media exploded with the Michael Jordan-LeBron James debate again on Sunday night after James helped lead the Cleveland Cavaliers back to the NBA Finals by beating Boston in a Game 7.
James has now reached the NBA Finals for the eighth-straight year. After trailing the series 2-0 and then 3-2, James willed the Cavaliers into the NBA Finals by winning Game 6 at home and Game 7 on the road.
Naturally, social media compared the two great players once again as fans took sides in the debate. On Monday morning, ESPN’s “Get Up” show brought on NBA legend Isaiah Thomas to weigh in on the debate and Bulls fans probably won’t like what the Chicago native had to say.

This isn’t the first time Thomas has taken LeBron’s side in the debate as back in March he said he would take LeBron over MJ. That caused Scottie Pippen to come to MJ’s defense and blast Thomas.
Thomas and Jordan battled on the court for years as a rivalry brewed between the Bulls and Pistons in the late 80’s and early 90’s. After Jordan and the Bulls got past the Pistons in the 1991 Eastern Conference Finals, they dominated the Eastern Conference for almost an entire decade.
The feud intensified when Thomas was left off the Dream Team that dominated at the 1992 Summer Olympics with speculation that Jordan was the reason why.
It appears as if Thomas hasn’t let go of that feud just yet.
