Chicago Bears safety Jaquan Brisker vented about a relatable issue for many Americans this weekend.
Many NFL players and fans are desperate to pass the time this weekend until Super Bowl LIX starts. The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs will not play until 5:30 p.m. CST on Sunday.
For football fans who wanted to turn on their PS5 and play Madden (or for me, College Football 25) until the Super Bowl started were in for a rough ride this weekend.
On Friday afternoon, the servers for PlayStation went down. As of Saturday afternoon, service has not been restored for every PlayStation user, and many gamers are afraid of a repeat of the 2011 fiasco that took the gaming company offline for 23 days.

Brisker, who had plenty of time to play video games during his recovery from a season-ending concussion on Oct. 6, isn’t happy about his PS5 being out of commission and threatened to take his business to Xbox.
“Wow, about to trade my PS5 in for an Xbox. Never thought I’d say that,” Brisker posted on X.

Brisker thinks PlayStation should give customers free months of service for the weekend outage.
“Yeah, am so close to being an Xbox user..PlayStation you’re just letting Xbox win the debate right now .. this is unacceptable. Free gaming for 6 months,” Brisker argued.
Brisker wrote that he understood the timing of the servers being down was especially bad this weekend. He joked that next weekend would have been a better time for PlayStation to crash.
“The streets saying the ladies wanted it to happen next weekend during Valentine’s Day,” Brisker wrote.
Don’t give PlayStation any ideas, Brisker.
