Chicago Cubs infielder Javier Baez is becoming a treat to watch.
It seems like almost every game he’s making a spectacular play that makes you wonder how on earth he did that. During Wednesday’s win against the Cincinnati Reds, Baez did it again.
Watch as he someone makes the tag and then throw to record the double play:
First off, the recognition of knowing the runner is there and tagging him was pretty damn good. Then the throw to first to complete the 4-3 double play was just spectacular.
It’s been quite the series for Baez, as he hit a big Grand Slam in the top of the 15th inning to extend the Cubs lead and help them sweep the Reds.
