When you have Javier Baez down in a 0-2 count, you probably shouldn’t throw a pitch close to the plate. Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Jameson Taillon made that mistake and learned things the hard way.
Baez crushed an 0-2 delivery from Taillon in the fourth inning of Tuesday’s game in Pittsburgh, hitting a three-run homer to tie the game. Tailloon left a meatball right up in the zone and Baez had no problem sending it into the left field seats:
