We haven’t heard much from Jay Cutler this off-season, today Jay Cutler joined KFC Radio as part of a weekly Google Plus hangout hosted by Barstool Sports. Cutler joined the chat sporting a Cosby sweater and full grown beard. The off-season really must be taking a toll on the Chicago Bears quarterback.
Cutler stayed on to chat for about 50 minutes and discussed topics such as him mailing an engagement ring to fiance Kristin Cavallari. Here’s what Cutler had to say about the situation:
From ChicagoSide:
“It could be true,” Cutler admitted. “I don’t know if it was that excessive—if it actually happened or not—but I don’t think I would lean my head back and scream ‘don’t care.’” At the 47:30 mark, one of the hosts asked Cutler if it is actually acceptable to mail your engagement ring, as Cutler was rumored to have done with Kristin Cavallari. “Round two you can do it,” Cutler said. “The first time, we were in Cabo. Did the whole thing on the knee, overlooking the sunset. The second time, I think she’d just left Chicago and we were at the airport talking about it. She was like, ‘I want my ring.’ And I was like, ‘Well, I don’t have it, so I guess I’ll just mail it to you.’ And she was like, ‘Perfect.’ And that’s just kind of how that went down. The first go at it, though? No, that’s not acceptable.”
Cutler also discussed Internet stories about him, and one really gained alot of attention. A story from KissingSuzyKobler.com describes a situation between Cutler and a fan at a Chicago Bar.
The whole hangout was an interesting 50 minute chat and gives us a little bit of a sense as to what Cutler can be like. He was actually a pretty generous and cool guy throughout.

This is funny. Somewhat stupid, but funny. I love the voice mails left by people. Also, I genuinely love Cutler’s sense of humor and seeing him do this kind of stuff. It’s why I like the Cutler show on ESPN last season. He’s at his best when he’s truly “playing.” Just look at him smiling at the Cowgirls game last season. 🙂 Great vid.
