Chicago is still trying to figure out how they feel about the Bulls trading point guard Derrick Rose to the New York Knicks.
As the city continues to cope with the move of the hometown kid, at least one former teammate has posted a emotional goodbye. Wing Jimmy Butler thanked Rose via his Instagram with a heartfelt message for his brother and point guard:
Reports surfaced during the season that Butler and Rose were having a tough time coexisting in Fred Hoiberg’s offense, after both wanted the offense to go through them. Butler received a new contract last offseason, as Rose is set to head into the final year of his contract this season.
Now for the first time since the 2010 season they will not be teammates.
