Say what you will about him on the court, whether or not you believe he can truly lead a team by himself or whether or not he’s better suited as a #2 0r #3 option.
Say what you will about his relationship with Derrick Rose, his ego that seemingly ballooned after the Bulls agreed to a 5-year, $95 million contract or whether or not the Bulls made the right choice in choosing to send away Rose.
Say what you will about if the Bulls made the right choice in choosing to keep him instead of biting on several offers that were made the night of the NBA Draft, including ones from the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Boston Celtics.
Jimmy Butler has built himself from the ground up and his work ethic is second to none. That is something that nobody can deny.
We all know Butler’s back history by now – from homeless at 13 to a JUCO walk on to transferring to Marquette, from riding the bench to becoming a 20 point per game leading scorer on the Bulls. Jimmy has certainly changed his narrative single handedly, including working out and practicing 3 times a day without any cable or internet because he wanted to be focused.
That might be the most insane thing I’ve ever heard.
Now, Butler has a new commercial with Jordan brand, similar to the one done about Michael Jordan’s failures, out.
Measure of success.@JimmyButler prepares for when it matters most. #WEAREJORDAN https://t.co/mAzMETrgYK

Things are looking up for Butler, and he’ll get his time to shine as “the man” next season for the Bulls.
