The NBA has fined Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah and Washington Wizards forward Paul Pierce $15,000 each for their altercation on Monday night.

Pierce was frustrated by what he thought was a foul that wasn’t called on the offensive end. He then fouled Chicago’s Jimmy Butler hard in the open court before jawing with Noah. With coach Tom Thibodeau in between the two, Noah shoved Pierce before Pierce reacted with a poke to Noah’s forehead.
In addition to the fines, the NBA also suspended Wizards players Nene, Dejaun Blair, Xavier Silas and Daniel Orton one game for leaving the bench during an altercation. The four will miss the teams regular-season opener.
