You’ve heard it from the analysts, the sports writers, and even some of the more enlightened meatballs but today you get it from the horses mouth. Sean Jensen of the Sun Times conducted an interview today with the former Bears receiver where Knox told him he will not continue to pursue a career in the NFL. Immediately upon witnessing the injury it was clear to many (except for the people who liked the Bears on facebook apperently) that it wasn’t very likely we would never see Knox on the field again. His recovery up to this point has been nigh-on miraculous in its own right. “I was centimeters away from being paralyzed, so just sitting here and talking, I’m appreciative of that,” he said.
