Jon Lester is back at it again with the glove throws to first base.
The Chicago Cubs pitcher threw his entire glove to Anthony Rizzo at first base in a game at Wrigley Field against the San Diego Padres in 2015, and he just did it again.
During Wednesday’s game in Pittsburgh, Lester couldn’t get the ball out of his glove again. So what did he do? He threw the entire glove to Rizzo.
Like last season’s incident, he got the out.
Lester is pitching well through 5 2/3 innings so far, getting out of two jams including a bases loaded no out situation.
