Chicago Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta is going to be one of the athlete’s featured in ESPN’s annual body issue, where pro athletes pose naked.
He won’t be the only Chicago athlete in the issue however.
Chicago athletes Elena Della Donne (Chicago Sky) and the Christen Press (Chicago Red Stars) will also be featured in the issue that hits news stands soon. Chicago native Dwyane Wade also makes an appearance.

Nathan Adria, Jake Arrieta, Antonio Brown, Emma Coburn, Courtney Conlogue, Elena Delle Donne, Adeline Gray, Conor McGregor, Ryan Dungey, Greg Louganis, Von Miller, Christen Press, Chris Mosier, Nzingha Prescod, April Ross, Allysa Seely, Claressa Shields, Dwyane Wade and Vince Wilfork.
Yes, Vince Wilfork.
As for Jon Lester, well…he wasn’t exactly enthusiastic about the news involving his teammate. Arrieta is one of the more dominant pitchers in the game and perhaps the face of the Cubs at the moment, but Lester had the perfect reaction to the news.

Shocked and disbelief are two words that come to mind to sum up Lester’s reaction.
While Joe Maddon is a very liberal, free, go with the flow type of guy, it’ll be interesting to see if he and the Cubs have any antics tucked up their sleeves – or under their hats maybe? – and kid their ace pitcher a bit.
It certainly figures to be a topic of conversation and maybe even gets a guy like Kris Bryant in that door, which I’m sure a lot of the Cubs female fans would enjoy.
