With the calendar flipping to 2018, that means we are getting ready for another big year of retro Air Jordans from Jordan Brand.
You’ve probably already seen a few of the upcoming pairs in the Jordan Brand collection but today the brand officially revealed its new Spring 2018 collection and it looks pretty damn good. The collection is highlighted by the Air Jordan X which gets a special treatment for celebrating its 23rd year in 2018.
Among those styles includes the Air Jordan I and XIII as the brand dipped into the vault for some awesome colorways. The preview showcases whats in store for Spring but does not include the Air Jordan x Levi’s collab releasing this week or the Air Jordan Black Cement 3 set to drop in Feb.
Take a look at what is coming this Spring:
Air Jordan XIII “Olive”
A remix on the classic “Olive” colorway for the Air Jordan XIII includes an all-suede construction, different from the original pair’s construction of tumbled leather. Olive and Black make up the upper of the shoe with red accents found throughout. Release date: 01/20/18
Air Jordan XVIII OG
The Air Jordan XVIII made its debut during the 2003 season while Jordan was playing for the Washington Wizards. It would be the last shoe Jordan would wear in an NBA game after retiring in April of 2003. Now the XVIII returns with upgraded leather in a white, metallic silver and sport blue colorway that is pretty crisp. Release date: 01/22/18
Air Jordan X “Cool Grey”
As mentioned before, the Air Jordan X is celebrating its 23rd year so Jordan Brand is releasing some dope colorways to celebrate. One of those is the “Cool Grey” colorway which is found throughout the entire shoe built from nubuck and leather. The outsole features a list of Jordan’s accomplishments in his NBA career with the colors of his opponents featured. Release date: 01/27/18
Air Jordan I “Bred Toe”
A different touch on the “Bred I” including the addition of “Summit White” accents on the shoe. Release date: 02/23/18.
Air Jordan I Alternate “Black/Game Royal”
Black detailing dominates this shoe which gets its inspiration from the classic Chicago colorway. Game Royal and White are spotted on the upper but it’s the black accents on the shoe that really make it stand out. Release date: Feb. 2018
Air Jordan XIII “Hyper Royal”
This will be the third colorway of the Air Jordan XIII to release in 2018. It will also mark the first public release of the “Hyper Royal” colorway that was previously available to Jordan Brand athletes. The shoe is dressed in a white leather upper with blue suede and is finished with a black and white rubber sole. Release date: 03/08/18
Air Jordan IX “Bred”
This pair of the Air Jordan IX gets a clean look with black dominating the upper and midsole. It’s finished off with red accents throughout and Anthracite on the outsole of the shoe. Release date: 03/10/18.
Air Jordan X “I’m Back”
Jordan made his return to the game of basketball in 1995 and the Air Jordan X officially hit the court that same year. Now, 23 years later Jordan Brand is dropping a brand new colorway of the X titled “I’m Back” featuring a white leather upper and black accents on the tongue and heel tab. To finish off the detailing, “I’m Back” and “3.18.95” are found on the heel tabs to commemorate the fax Jordan sent on March 18th with the words “I’m Back” to announce he’s returning to the NBA. Release date: 03/18/18.
